Fondazione Salvatore Maugeri is a research hospital which operates in Italy in the areas of health protection in the workplace and in the field of Rehabilitation Medicine of High Specialization, in order to improve the quality of life and to promote the recovery of the functional and attitudinal abilities of the person.

Clinical assistance and research activity is oriented to the diagnosis and treatment of occupational diseases, the prevention and definition of risks from productive activities and the rehabilitation of people suffering from Cardiovascular, Respiratory or Neuromotor disorders, due to post-acute disease and chronically severely disabling, and of cancer patients.
