From the tragic experience of the war, mainly lived in the tragic retreat of Russia as military chaplain, grew up the mission to which Don Carlo Gnocchi dedicated his life, with coherence and fidelity: to start from the last,  aiming to redeem their “innocent pain” and build a hope for the future.
